Free Fall Over The Edge Video Contest
Contest Dates: 03/2012-06/2012
Details
Remember what it felt like to be left out of a game or a group? We do. And we didn’t like it. Join us in inspiring and educating the general public about why it matters to include all kids in out of school programs and activities. KIT provides training for the people who run preschools, before and after school programs and recreational programs – helping them with strategies to make kids with special needs feel welcome in that program. We want you to create a video up to 180 seconds in length explaining why that kind of inclusion is important. Your video may be used in future marketing efforts for KIT.
There are some legal limits on what you are able to do and we will not post videos that are inappropriate or offensive. Other than that, what you put in your video to demonstrate the power of inclusion is up to you (live action, animation, etc). Since this contest is in conjunction with the annual Over the Edge campaign, feel free to also use the photos from our website of people of all abilities doing this EXTREME fundraiser. Who knew that someone in a wheelchair could rapell? We're looking for bold, creative, and exciting videos to help educate the public about why the greatest disability is sometimes our own attitude!
